Select Your Tire Size on Tirerack

The Optimo H426 is one of Hankook’s Grand Touring All-Season tires developed for Original Equipment (O.E.) use on sporty sedans. The Optimo H426 is designed to provide attractive looks, predictable handling and year-round traction, even in occasional light snow.

The Optimo H426 features a symmetric, independent-block tread design that uses an all-season tread compound to provide traction on dry, wet and light snow-covered roads. The tire’s internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced by nylon to stabilize the tread area and a polyester cord body to help cushion the ride.

*Specific sizes featuring low rolling resistance technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire’s Specs tab.

  1. Either I am a very spirited driver, or the wear on these tires don’t last long at all. I have only had the tires for 20k and I had to replace one for a bubble in the side wall 10k in. Now I have to replace 2 more because they are balled and the belt is starting to show through.

  2. I am now replacing my Hankook 426 tires with General Altimax tires. We’ll see if I get more than 24,000 miles out of them.

  3. Bought my Toyota Corolla, October 2016. Two 1/2 years and 64,000 miles later, I’m just now replacing. I was actually on this site shopping for more. I drive on the highway a lot, rotate tires whenever I change oil. Car is in alignment and tires never wore funny unlike all tires on the Mini I used to own but those were sport tires. Anyway, I’ve never had a tire age this well and last this long with no irregular wearing. Good tire.

  4. Traction was not good from day 1. Wet or dry. Always spun wheels even when gas was applied lightly. Was always concerned about traction and did not want to wait to replace the tires but waited because of budget concerns. finally going to replace them now.

  5. These tires are horrible, factory tire and around 26k they already showed signs of wear, I am at 39k and they are shot. They handle horrible in the rain and are way overprices. DO NOT BUY these. The ratings speak for themselves, they rank at the absolute bottom.

  6. Bought these as replacement tires for my Honda Accord Sedan. Rated for 60,000 miles, but after only 25,000 miles all 4 tires are showing “cupping” and “feathering” on the inside edge, resulting in a noisier ride. The dealer said I could expect premature wear on the inside edge and the tires are unlikely to come close to their rated mileage. The service rep, the service manager and I all contacted Hankook, which had no interest in even discussing the problem, let alone replacing the tires. I had never heard of this company before, and I will never buy tires from them again.
