The Cinturato P7 All Season is Pirelli’s Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sport coupes and sedans. The Cinturato P7 All Season’s unique combination of qualities have been made possible by Pirelli’s Green Performance approach to developing products offering a synergy of driving pleasure, performance, safety and respect of the environment. The Pirelli Ecoimpact icons on the sidewalls of Cinturato P7 All Season tires highlight their contribution to the environment with regards to energy efficiency, clean air, low noise and long wear. The Cinturato P7 All Season is designed for drivers who operate their vehicles in America’s various weather conditions, including in light snow.

The Cinturato P7 All Season uses a low rolling resistance tread compound that features technologically advanced polymers to increase grip on wet and dry roads while it reduces vehicle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design that promotes even wear, improves ride comfort and reduces noise levels. A robust outboard shoulder enhances lateral grip on dry roads while four circumferential channels flow water from between the tire’s contact patch and the road to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. Independent tread blocks and multiple sipes increase the biting edges needed to enhance traction in light snow. The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by nylon cap plies to provide high speed-durability.

Note: Cinturato P7 All Season tires are designed and produced using eco-focused manufacturing methods and feature low rolling resistance (LRR) compounds and constructions to enhance the vehicle fuel economy of their Original Equipment applications. These tires are identified as such with Pirelli’s Ecoimpact designation on their Sizes and Specs pages.

  1. Great traction, have not experienced any hydroplaning when driving in heavy rain, low noise, excellent tread wear, no vibration, hard to break loose in corners, good, direct steering feel – really all around excellent tire except for one problem – weak sidewalls. Maybe it is due to my having low profile tires (40 series front and 35 series back) but have experienced bubbles on the sidewall of two tires after hitting potholes. Never had this happen before with a tire and from other reviews it seems not to be an isolated incident.

  2. At 28560 miles on my Subaru with constant air pressure monitor and tire rotations the face of some tires have wide cracking areas in the face. This was noticed when I was getting excessive wobbling and vibrations at all speeds.Good news I took it in to have checked out immediately thus avoiding a severe blow out!! 70000 mile rated tire , unfortunately tires are warrantied only by threadwear not years. These are less than 3 years old with excessive wear with threads measuring 3/32 to 4/32.

  3. OEM tires from dealership. 40,000 and replacing with same at the moment. Great handling. Road noise level is low. Very positive experience with these. Wear has been a bit uneven, but so how the tire rotation schedule. Would recommend.

  4. I found these tires to be not so good for sporty driving – traction is limited especially in the wet. These are a quiet and comfortable set of tires.

  5. This tire should have been put on the GTI. There is no hookup from a hard launch at all, the car will be spinning the wheels all the way through first and second gear. There is rampant torque steer as well. The tread wear was horrendous, only 16,000 out of a tire that was on the front wheels for 10k and then rotated to the back! For such a high priced tire I only got 16 months use out of them. After switching to the firehawk indy 500 (a summer tire but I live in South Florida) there is no wheelspin no matter the gear even on wet roads, and I can corner MUCH more aggressively without worrying about understeer. I would only recommend this tire to maybe a prius, any car with even a hint of power will be too much for this POS tires and you will genuinely be putting yourself in harms way. These tires are not even economical. My performance summer tires saved me an extra 1/8 tank over a 350 mile drive. DO NOT BUY THESE GARBAGE TIRES. These are a waste of money and are not safe on a performance car.

  6. Tires were great when I first got the car. Quite, steady and held the turns well. The treads wore quickly and after 24k and 3 years the car needs new tires. While the tire tread wore the road noise increased. I don’t think these tires held up well in the hot South Florida Sun.No way I am going to spend this kind of money for only 20K miles or so.

  7. After 14,000 miles, the road force of three out of four tires is out of spec and the car shakes… how is possible that Audi selected these tires as OEM when they are sub-standard? Very disappointed!! I will have to buy a new full set. Michelin AS3 are much better tires and the price is similar…

  8. These tires look and feel great with little road noise even at highway speeds. Driving in the summer with these is fun…unfortunately when its raining, pullover!!! Stopping distance is terrible on these tires in the rain and I’ve found myself hydroplaning on more than one occasion in moderate to heavy rain. Don’t wait until the snow starts to swap out these tires either…they are BRUTAL in anything from a dusting of snow to minor ice. I am very disappointed in the treadwear of these as well. I will be shopping for a different set next time, not good Pirelli, not good.

  9. Please try your best to avoid these tires even they come as factory original tires! These tires come as the original equipment for my car. I can bear with the noisy ride and the poor attractions, but I can not withstand that I have CHANGED 4 OF THESE TIRES all because of BUBBLES in my 3 yrs/ 30k miles ownership of the car. I must admit that the tire is a low profile tire and the road around Boston is not well-maintained, but I have NEVER experienced this many bubbles in a tire during my couple years of car ownership (my previous cars run on 35 and 40). PLEASE AVOID IT!

  10. Got these installed when new on new wheels through the dealer. So far I’m very happy with them. Here we get rain/snow/warm on day/cold the next and they seem to do as well as any other AS tire I’ve had on my DD over the years. Always wanted to try Pirelli so there you go…I’d buy them again but next time I think I’ll move up a step in performance category but make no mistake, these are just fine for a GT AS tire.

  11. This is my 3rd leased car to come with these tires, so I’ve experienced probably something like 75k miles total. These tires just don’t do anything well…..they aren’t very quiet, have no grip, provide a below average ride, and are just passable in poor weather. To me they are just basic tires. It wouldn’t make sense to me to change them on a leased car, but if I ever decided to buy out the car, the first thing I would immediately do is change tires.

  12. This tire is OEM on newer Audi A4s. Many people have had vibration problem around 70mph. After swapping for another brand, vibration usually solved. Road Force Balance may help for a few days but vibration returns. Most people thinks the problem comes from flat spotting. Seems to occur on lots of cars that sat for a long time including brand new cars from dealer’s lot.

  13. I put these on a 2017 Subaru Outback 2.5 Touring and now have almost 50K on them. They are wearing evenly on all positions and have been rotated every 6000 miles. The tires are very quiet and smooth and still have 6/32″ on them at the current mileage. I think these will go very close to the rated 70K which makes me very happy. I highly recommend these tires

  14. These P7s were the OE tires on my VW GTI and I was concerned about them being “Grand Touring” and not ultra-high performance tires, but was very pleasantly surprised with their performance. Interstate entrance ramps and back roads were still a blast. At 35,500 miles they were just under 4/32 of an inch and still going strong. The hydroplaning resistance was still very good at 4/32 in heavy rain! Light snow traction was also acceptable at 5/32 with cautious driving. The only downside I can see is they are as expensive and have a similar tread life as most ultra-high performance tires.I purchased Michelin A/S3+ (Ultra High Performance All Season tires) for my previous GTI. The P7s performed at about 8.5/10 as good as the A/S 3+. Providing good feedback, grip, ride, and noise level. I am again buying Michelin A/S3+, but feel the P7s would be a great choice for someone who lives somewhere with frequent rain. If they were only about $30 cheaper I would have purchased them again.

  15. I am at 25,000 miles and need new tires. I never thought they were at all impressive in any conditions. I mean I drove them home in the rain the first day and I could feel them slip on the traffic lines. I should have returned them right then and there. Got stuck in my drive way several times in the snow/ice and I only have a very slight incline to it and never felt particularly confident driving in our N.E. Winters. And to now have to replace them at 25K mi. is extremely disappointing. Will never buy these again, can’t understand how they are so highly rated. Back to the drawing board I guess.

  16. DO NOT BUY!!!! After only 17,600 miles, the front tires of my 2018 BMW X1 are almost bald! I wasn’t aware of just how quickly the tires had worn down as I take my vehicle in for regular maintenance and all seemed well until it wasn’t. I was recently driving in the rain around 50-55 mph on Rt 27 in Indiana and felt my vehicle lose its grip on the road – very scary. I slowed down and even pulled over to let other cars pass me (trucks and sedans) bc I was too scared of hydroplaning to drive normally. Once I got on Rt 70, all sorts of sedans were flying past me while I was driving with a deathgrip on the steering wheel and praying that these shoddy tires won’t cause me to get into an accident. These are also on my husband’s BMW 228I couple and he also had to replace his front tires after only minimal mileage due to an abnormal amount of wear. These are not cheap tires and should be lasting much longer than 16-20K miles. Not only are they unsafe, they become increasingly noisy as they wear. Please, BMW, stop putting these tires on your vehicles. Would never buy again if I didn’t have to (need my front tires to match the rear tires to fulfill the lease requirement when I turn it in next year).

  17. I had the dealer put on a different set of wheels (one size up) when I purchased my car and had them install these tires as part of that deal. I did some research and these seemed to be a good all-around tire. I drive 22K a year with a large chunk of that on the highway. They are very quiet and reasonable tires for this purpose. My car has performance software and hardware and I have never had an issue with these tires “not being enough tire” even driving aggressively. At 23K now and they are at 7/32 which I find very good. I have rotated them 3x in the 23K I’ve had them. I always figure if I can get 40K out of a set of $500 tires I’m doing very good. They worked well with my car’s AWD system last winter in light snow. I’d buy these again without hesitation however next go around I’ll probably go with a ultra-high performance AS vs. the grand touring. Always interesting how the reviews here can be so wildly different.

  18. After 26k, tires are still quiet, comfortable, smooth, good at braking etc. Except, they are WEARING exceptionally fast. Have rotated regularly, kept air in them and still after 26k of mixed City/Highway driving, they are wearing down fast. Disapointed given there cost. Happy to answer any follow up questions.

  19. Two thinking I don’t worry about, my daughter’s 2003 Camry and the Pirelli tires we put on it. The last set we installed was back in 9/2013. No OTHER tires I have put on this car has lasted this long. Most tires had to be replaced in 2-3 years. I love these tires so much, I have put them on my Tundra and my wife’s van!!!

  20. Unacceptable tread life. After 25K miles down to 4/32. My wife drives pretty gently mostly on the highway with no traffic. The warranty claim process is so onerous and complicated that it is not worth wasting time on.

  21. The tire is great in most regards outside of its tread wear. Hoping to make it through the winter with them, but I’m not too sure about it. Down to 3/16 on the tires only after about 32,000 miles of mostly highway driving and I’m not too happy about it. I’m looking at getting tires so the tires’ life will end up to be around 35,000 miles. The sound and ride quality are great, but at nearly $175.00 they should have lasted longer!

  22. I put 35,000 miles on the tires so far with no problems. Rotated every 6,000 miles. It handles well in dry and wet conditions, and seems to maintain traction in DC winters, which generally have light snow conditions. The tires currently have about 6/10 of the tread left. The road noise did, however, increase a bit after about 25,000 miles.

  23. I work from home, so most of my driving is running errands around town or going to the airport 130 miles away once a month, all higher speed freeway driving (Idaho has 80mph speed limit). I put these tires on in September 2016 and I rotate every 5K. Maybe I missed a rotation, because one axle/set of tires is way more worn than the other. Rears are down near the wear bar, while the fronts are 4/32 or so. I gauge in the middle of the tire and noticed that the inside of the tire is more worn than the outside on all lfour, which seems rare. I know my Audi doesn’t “eat” tires like my wife’s BMW GT does, but —-, these have a bit over 20K on them and I’ll need to replace some/all in the very near future! They were originally rated @ 500 A A, and I was hoping to get @ least 40K miles on them, but it looks like I MIGHT get 25K in I’m lucky. PS. I reduced the air in the tires from 44 psi to 35 psi hoping to wear a bit more off the outer edges than the center – we’ll see. I understand driving mostly in city with an AWD car is tougher on tire wear (faster), but this seems a bit out of line.

  24. I purchased the tires in June 2016. I only drive this vehicle approximately 8,000 miles per year, most of which is in town. I monitor pressure religiously and rotate. Tire wear has been even. However, these tires are LOUD, especially on the highway. I will not drive them on a trip due to road noise.

  25. We live in Southwest Washington with many wet days although almost no snow. These tires are very smooth, balance quite well , and are quiet. I am down to about 3/32/ tread depth and they are starting to hydroplane a bit. I have also noticed as these tires have worn that the are nibbling or tramlining. Ironically, I really feel that at low speed on city streets, but not on the highway where the ruts are often more noticable. This is an ordinary looking tire that has been excellent in all but wear, which for me is a lower priority than handling in the rain and comfort. I also had these tires on a VW GTI and was surprised by their overall competence. It is interesting to note that the successors to this tire are not rated as highly. Due to that fact, I am going to try the very highly rated Vredestein quatrac Pro . I have never considered Pirelli tires to be in the top tier for quality, but having driven over 60,000 miles on two vehicles with these P7 All Season, I have changed my mind.

  26. Maybe have 37000 on our P7s. Back in March we had a dusting of snow here in Nebr. My wife drive roughly 30 miles to work as she is a nurse, she then told me that was the longest 30 miles she had ever driven. In fact, she could only drive 30-45 miles an hour. She said there wasn’t even any ice on the road. It has snowed twice since then, she has refused to drive the Fusion until I got different tires. What a disappointment!! Especially since these are expensive tires!!

  27. This tire was stock on my 2018 Audi A3 Etron purchased 20 months ago. The car has been driven about 1K miles per month with 80% being on decent highway. (Los Angeles – definitely not off-road). I have had at least 3 (maybe 4, I lost count) side wall blowouts/failures and Each time the tire had to be replaced By the dealer with an identical tire. Just a SMALL pothole if anything will slice this tire. I’m looking into buying a completely new set of Bridgestone or Michelin tires that I’m sure will be more dependable.

  28. This was the oem tire for my fiat Abarth. The first set only got 23,000 miles and the second set only 20,000 miles! Terrible! Tires were rotated at the proper mileage and all wore evenly. 43,000 miles and now on 3rd set of tires. Not a lot of choices for this vehicle but this year I did find another brand and they are getting installed today. Do not buy this tire!

  29. This are OEM tires for my Audi A4, which I had to replace just after 2 years and 12500 miles. One of the tires developed sidewall bump on the front. Will not recommend this tires. Please note they don’t have thread wear warranty too. It seems to me Pirelli I use to know is no more. Very disappointed.

  30. I originally paid a little more for this tire following various research. And it was worth EVER penny. Great Tires: Quite, Long Lasting, Good Handling, Good Traction. After about 60,000 miles I’m getting close to needing another set , and I’m buying these exact tires again.

  31. Nice and quiet when new. Definitely not a performance tire, but a reasonable compromise for a Volvo station wagon. Have worn unevenly and cupped despite rotating. Very noisy after 25000 miles. Need to be replaced soon; have only lasted half as long as expected. I gambled on Pirelli; should probably stick with Michelin.
