Passenger All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a smooth ride, good wear and S- or T-speed rated durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Passenger All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on standard coupes, sedans and family vans, as well as some entry-level pickup, crossover and sport utility vehicles.
O.E. Passenger All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. I own a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE (top trim) with a CVT Atomatic and 1.2L 3 Yclinder Engine. These are the standard OEM tires that cone on the Mirage G4 SE and Mirage GT that have 15 inch wheels and tires. Overall I am impressed with them. They have a good ride, handling, quietness and traction combination. Their tread is pretty good in the snow too as they are a true all season tire and not those touring all seasons like my 2013 Hyundai Elantra had and they were horrible in the snow. I only got to drive mine in 2 snowfalls as I purchased the car February 13, 2017 but from what I seen it did pretty good. I owned a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage ES (top trim in that model year) with a CVT and it had the 14 inch alloy wheels and the Dunlop Enasave tires which were a great tire overall and good in the snow also. But all and all I give these Yokohama AVID Tires an overall rating of 9 out of 10 and will definitely buy tehm again like I did the Dunlop Enasaves on my 2015 Mirage. If they are a good tire I like to stick with the tire from the factory when it comes time to replace. The only downside is I think they are a little pricey for a 30,000 to 40,000 mile tread wear rated tire. But in the end yes Icwil lbuy them again and am happy with their performance on my 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE.
I recently removed these tires and went with the Vredestein Qutrac 5 and what a difference. I thought these tires were not to bad the first few thousand miles and overall I liked them but after having the Vredesteins put on my G4 I can see these tires were not very good at all. The road noise level is way lower with my Quatrac 5 than with these Yokohamas and the ride is much smoother as well. The more I used these tires the more I noticed how weak wet traction was and that makes since with a B rating on traction (AA, A, B, C). In normal everyday dry driving these are not a bad tire. But after having these new tires on I can see I was wrong. I thought the Yokohamas were quiet and it was just highway noise with my G4 but I was wrong it was my tires. The road noise with the Grand Touring Vredestein Quatrac 5 tires has cut the road noise by half! Now my car has a much more refined driving feel. So ai wanted to do an updated review over my previous one now that I had something to compare these Yokohamas to I see they are a below average tire and extremely over priced!!!
